Inspect regulator and associated hardware for damage or excessive <br />wear. Repair or replace as needed. <br /> <br />II. Verify proper operation as set forth in the regulator <br />manufacturer's instruction books and service bulletins. <br /> <br />III. Perform the following oil tests: <br /> <br />A. Color comparison. <br />B. Interfacial tension. <br />C. Dielectric breakdown. <br /> <br />IV. obtain a sample of oil for dissolved gas analysis by the system <br />laboratory. If the regulator is to be de-energized, obtain <br />sample before removing from service. <br /> <br />V. Inspect the bushings and clean if needed. <br /> <br />VI. Paint if needed. <br /> <br />VII. Verify continuity between the grounds on the regulator and the <br />structures in the regulator bay and a structure not associated <br />with the regulator bay. <br /> <br />VIII.
