9 RESOLUTION 1994- 57R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC FOR A 0.45 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 616 MARTIN LUTHER KING DRIVE AND DECLARING AN. EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On February 22, 1994, the Joint Planning and Zoning commissions of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Medium Density Residential to Public for a 0.45 acre tract of property located at 616 Martin Luther King Drive. 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the commissions did, on February 22, 1994, consider the request and voted to deny it and have recommended that the request be denied by the city Council of the city. 3. The City Council held a public hearing OTh the 11th day of April , 1994, regarding the request. 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Medium Density Residential shall be shown on that map as Public: Street address: 616 Martin Luther King Drive Size: 0.45 acre Leqal description: See attached Exhibit A. Deed or plat reference: Volume 283, page 341, Hays County Deed Records. PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
