89 RESOLUTION 1994- SIR A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM COMMERCIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR A 7.8 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1011 WONDER WORLD DRIVE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE, DATE. RECITALS: 1. On March 29, 1994, the Joint Planning and Zoning commissions of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Commercial to High Density Residential for a 7.8 acre tract of property located at 1011 Wonder World Drive. 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commissions did, on March 29, 1994, consider the request and voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the city. 3. The City Council held a public hearing o~ the 23rd day of May , 1994, regarding the request. 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. 5. The city Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Commercial shall be shown on that map as High Density Residential: Street address: 1011 Wonder World Drive. Size: 7.8 acres Leqal description: See attached Exhibit A. Deed or plat reference: Volume 1029, page 154, Hays County Deed Records. PART 2.
