:!: ~ ~J CJ~ 90 1l18 ~t;j c ": ã-æ ~~ "",\J u...I .~ c.-;)'8l ~q - - .~ ORDINANCE 1994- 36 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING 0.094 AND 0.355 ACRE TRACTS OF PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 1201 CHEATHAM STREET FROM "M" SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX, AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "c" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND "LB" LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT, RESPECTIVELY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On March 29, 1994, the Zoning Commission of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "M" Multi-Family, Duplex, and Neighborhood Business District to' "C" Commercial District and "LB" Limited Business District for a 0.449 acre tract of property located at 1201 Cheatham Street. 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Zoning Commission did, on March 29, 1994 consider the request and voted to approve and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the city. . 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 23rò day of May , 1994, regarding the request. 4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to amendments have been met. 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Off icial Zoning Map of the City, as described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended to rezone the following real property which is presently zoned "M" Single-Family, Duplex, and Neighborhood Business District to "C" Commercial District: Street address: 1201 Cheatham Street. Size: 0.094 acre Leqal description: See attached Exhibit A. Deed or plat reference: Volume 161, page 116, Hays County Deed Records. SECTION 2. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended to rezone the following real property which is presently zoned "M" Single-Family, Duplex, and Neighborhood Business District to "LB" Limited Business District: Street address: 1201 Cheatham Street.
