r-~ \'<ì ~l cr c;- 91 ,"""" c;- lZl'Z5 - 0 Q ...::- ~~ U'O ('J ii:f1 ~ CI:)- ::L j:::° ,;t '< -Þ fò,;la ORDINANCE 1994- 37 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 7.8 ACRES TRACT OF PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 1011 WONDER WORLD DRIVE FROM "C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "MF-4" MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT (HIGH DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On March 29, 1994, the Zoning commission of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "C" Commercial District to "M-4" Multi-Family District (High Density) for a 7.8 acre tract of property located at 1011 Wonder World Drive. 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Zoning commission did, on March 29, 1994 consider the request and voted to approve and has recommended that the request be approved by the city Council of the city. 3. The city Council held a public hearing on the 23rd' day of May , 1994, regarding the request~ 4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the city of San Marcos pertaining to amendments have been met. 5. The city Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Off icial Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended to rezone the following real property which is presently zoned "C" Commercial District to "MF-4" Multi-Family District(High Density): Street address: 1011 Wonder World Drive. Size: 7.8 acres Leqal description: See attached Exhibit A. Deed or plat reference: Volume 1029, page 154, Hays County Deed Records. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. If reconsidered on June 13, 1994 it shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
