ORDINANCE 1994- --2.L <br /> <C c.;¡õ <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br /> ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.4 ACRE <br /> TRACT OF PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 200 PATRICIA <br /> DRIVE FROM "c" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO IR-1" <br /> SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On April 5,1994, the Zoning commission of the city of San <br /> Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the <br /> zoning from "C" Commercial District to IR-1" Single-Family Dwelling <br /> District (Low Density) for a 0.4 acre tract of property located at <br /> 200 Patricia Drive. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Zoning <br /> commission did, on April 5, 1994 consider the request and voted to <br /> approve and has recommended that the request be approved by the <br /> City Council of the City. <br /> 3. The city Council held a public hearing on the 23rd day <br /> of May , 1994, regarding the request- <br /> 4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, <br /> of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the <br /> public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as <br /> described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby <br /> amended to rezone the following real property which is presently <br /> zoned "C" Commercial District to "R-l" single-Family Dwelling <br /> District(Low Density): <br /> Street address: 200 Patricia Drive. <br /> Size: 0.4 acre <br /> Leqal description: Lots 7 and 8 9f Block 3, Sunset Acres <br /> Addition, unit 1. <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 154, page 394, Hays <br /> County Deed Records. <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br /> days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to <br /> reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting <br /> following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote <br /> to reconsider it. If reconsidered on June 13, 1994 it shall be <br /> in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if <br /> approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not <br /> reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 1994, <br /> subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting <br /> scheduled for June 13, 1994 . <br /> Reconsidered yes no X <br />
