<br /> 130 <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> CHARLES WILLIS & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br /> ~~ <br /> STATE OF TEXAS <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> The City of San Marcos and Charles Willis & Associates, <br /> Inc. do hereby agree to amend their original agreement for <br /> professional services in connection with the City's FY 1994 <br /> Airport Improvement Project at the San Marcos Municipal <br /> Airport, dated May 24, 1994. <br /> 1. Subsection 1.0.4 is amended to read as follows: <br /> 1.0.4 Geotechnical testing and surveying portions of the <br /> CONSTULTANT's services are to be performed through the use of <br /> subcontractors to the CONSULTANT. The CONSULTANT<will notify <br /> the CITY prior to retaining any subcontractors other than <br /> those identified in the CONSULTANT's proposal for services. <br /> The CONSULTANT will be responsible to the CITY for all work <br /> performed by subcontractors. Fees for the CONSULTANT's <br /> procurement of these subcontractor services will be paid for <br /> as Additional Services under Sections 1.5 and 13.2, and are <br /> not included in the CONSULTANT's basic fee described in <br /> Article 13 of this Agreement. <br /> 2. The parties further agree to amend Section 1.0 to <br /> add Subsection 1.0.9 to read as foJ.-lows: <br /> - <br /> 1.0.9 The CONSULTANT will complete all phases of Part A <br /> of the Project prior to beginning any work on Parts B or C of <br /> the Project. The CONSULTANT will not commence work on <br /> either Part B or Part C until it has received written <br /> authorization to proceed for each part from the CITY. <br /> 3.
