PECAN STREET FROM "R-llt SINGLE-FAMILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) TO IIMR" MOBILE, <br />HOME AND RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On May 3, 1994, the Zoning commission of the city of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the <br />zoning from "R-l" single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to <br />IIMRIt Mobile Home and Residential District for Lot 12, Block 1 of <br />the Fairlawn Addition, located at 1901 Pecan Street. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Zoning <br />commission did, on May 3, 1994 consider the request and voted to <br />approve it and has recommended that the request be approved by the <br />City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on~the 27th day <br />of June, 1994, regarding the request. <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, <br />of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to <br />amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The city Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the <br />public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNÇIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the Off icial zoning Map of the City, as <br />described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby <br />amended to rezone the following real property which is presently <br />zoned "R-llt Single-Family Dwelling District (LoW'Density) to "MR" <br />Mobile Home and Residential District: <br /> <br />Street address: 1901 Pecan street. <br /> <br />Size: 0.27 acres, more or less. <br /> <br />Legal description: Lot 12, Block 1, Fairlawn Addition <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 115, pages 621-624, Hays <br />County Deed Records. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br />days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to <br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting <br />following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote <br />to reconsider it. If reconsidered on July II, 1994 it shall be <br />, in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if <br />approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not <br />reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the <br />city of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of June, 1994, <br />subject to reconsideration at the next regular city Council meeting <br />scheduled for July 11, 1994 . <br /> <br />Reconsidered yes no X <br />
