20 \ \ "3 RESOLUTION 1994- 113R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM OPEN SPACE/FLOODPLAIN TO MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR A 2.0 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 1400 BLOCK OF RIVER ROAD AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On May 31,1994, the Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Open Space/Floodplain to Medium Density Residential for a 2.0 acre tract of property located in the 1400 Block of River Road. 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commissions did, on May 31, 1994, consider the request and voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by the city Council of the city. 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 25th day of July , 1994/ regarding the request. . 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Open Space/Floodplain shall be shown on that map as Medium Density Residential: Street address: 1400 Block of River Road. Size: 2.0 acres Leqal description: See attached Exhibit A. Deed or plat reference: Volume 727/ page 472, Hays County Deed Records. PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
