<br /> 21 <br /> RESOLUTION 1994- 114 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO MEDIUM DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL FOR A 10.05 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 426 BROADWAY DRIVE AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br /> 1. On May 31/ 1994, the Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions <br />of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request <br />to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Low <br />Density Residential to Medium Density Residential for a 10.05 acre <br />tract of property located at 426 Broadway Drive. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Commissions did, on May 31/ 1994, consider the request and voted to <br />approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by the <br />City Council of the city. <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 25th day <br />of July , 1994, regarding the request.. <br /> 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The city Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br />public, health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br />Plan of the City of San Marcos as Low Density Residential shall be <br />shown on that map as Medium Density Residential: <br /> Street address: 426 Broadway Drive. <br /> size: 10.05 acres <br /> Leqal description: See attached Exhibit A. <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 240, page 17, Hays County <br /> Deed Records. <br /> PART 2.
