<br /> 45 <br /> RESOLUTION 1994- 122R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> COMMERCIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR A <br /> 10.447 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1606 <br /> IH 35 NORTH AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />-- RECITALS: <br /> 1. On June 28,1994 the Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions <br /> of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request <br /> to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Commercial <br /> to High Density Residential for a 10.447 acre tract of property <br /> located at 1606 IH 35 North. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br /> Commissions did, on June 28, 1994, consider the request and voted <br /> to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by <br /> the City Council of the city. <br /> 3. The city Council held a public hearing on the 8th day <br /> of Auqust , 1994, regarding the request. <br /> ~ <br /> 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council finds and determines that the adoption of <br /> the following resolution is in the interest of the public, health, <br /> morals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following de$cribed tract of real property <br /> which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br /> Plan of the city of San Marcos as Commercial shall be shown on that <br /> map as High Density Residential: <br /> Street address: 1606 IH 35 North. <br /> Size: 10.447 acres <br /> Leqal description: Lot 1, section 1 and Lot 1, section <br /> 2 of Interpark East Subdivision. <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 2, page 248 and Volume 2, <br /> page 305, Hays County Plat Records. <br /> PART 2.
