<br /> .. .. 74 <br /> AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO <br /> TO THE AGREEMENT FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION <br /> AND DISPOSAL BETWEEN THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AND BROWNING-FERRIS, INC. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On August 31, 1992, the city of San Marcos, Texas, entered into a <br />contract (the "Agreement") with Browning-Ferris, Inc. for solid waste <br />collection and disposal and related services for the city. <br />2. Browning-Ferris, Inc. has requested an amendment to the Agreement <br />to increase the monthly base residential rate by $0.13 on the basis of <br />changes in the consumer price index. <br /> Now, therefore, it is understood and agreed by the parties hereto <br />that the following amendment is incorporated into the Agreement: <br /> 1. Effective September 1, 1994, the Contractor's rate per <br /> residential unit per month for curbside solid waste collection <br /> two days per week is increased from $6.43 to $6.56. <br /> . <br />All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full <br />force and effect. <br /> In witness whereof, we, the contracting parties, by our duly <br />authorized agents, hereto affix our signatures and seals. <br />Attest: CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, a municipal <br />~ '~I:c ¡J corporatio~ in Hays and Caldwell Counties <br /> By: <br />L, /1.
