í/o;V -15- 13.1 BASIC COMPENSATION 13.1.1 For Tasks 1 and 2 of Basic Services 1 as described in Sections 1.1 and 1.2, the ENGINEER will be compensated in fixed fee amounts as follows: TASK 1- SITE SURVEY Survey Crew: Data Collection $ 4/080.00 ---- Level Control 340.00 Critical Spot Check 1/020.00 Technical Services- Verification 1/560.00 and Plotting Professional Services- Supervision & check 640.00 Total TASK 1: $ 7/640.00 TASK 2- PRELIMINARY DESIGN $12,450.00 13.1. 2. The total basic fee to be paid to ENGINEER for Task 3 services 1 including subcontractor consultants 1 but not including reimbursable expenses, will be 90% of the amount determined by applying the percentage shown on Curve A on the attached Curves of Compensation for the awarded contract amount for each respective construction phase to the awarded contract amount, less a prorata share of the Basic Compensation for the Preliminary Design, Task 21 for such respective construction phase. In no event 1 however 1 will the total of all fees for Task 3 services exceed $26,415.00 without the approval of the City Council of the CITY. An increase in these fees may be necessary if the scope of the Project is substantially changed. 13.1.3. The total basic fee to be paid to ENGINEER for Task 4 services 1 including subcontractor consultants, but not including reimbursable expenses 1 will be 10% of the amount determined by applying the percentage shown on Curve A on the attached Curves' of Compensation for the awarded contract amount for each respective construction phase to the awarded contract amount. In no event, however 1 will the total of all fees for Task 4 services exceed $4,180.00 without the approval of the City Council of. the CITY. An increase in these fees may be necessary if the scope of the Project is substantially changed. 13.1.4 The total of all reimbursable expenses under. this Agreement will not exceed $1,500.00.
