<br /> 130 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1994 - 143R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS RATIFYING THE SUBMISSION OF AN <br /> AMENDED GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL AVIATION <br /> ADMINISTRATION FOR FY 94 AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROGRAM PROJECT NO. 3-48-0195-12-94 AT THE SAN <br /> MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; ACCEPTING A GRANT OFFER <br /> FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR THE <br /> PROJECT; APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE <br /> AMENDED GRANT AGREEMENT; APPROVING THE CITY'S <br /> CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER'S EXECUTION OF THE AMENDED GRANT <br /> APPLICATION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THE AMENDED AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On May 10, 1993 the City authorized the <br /> submission of a preapplication for federal assistance from the <br /> Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for funds to complete the FY <br /> 94 Airport Improvement Program (A.I.P.) Project at the San Marcos <br /> Municipal Airport. <br /> 2. The City received funding for all work items <br /> in the original grant application except the reconstruction of the <br /> Airport access road. <br /> 3. The City has received notification from the <br /> City's FAA representative that funding for the reconstruction of <br /> the access road will be approved and formal notification of the <br /> funding amount is imminent. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the City Manager's execution and submission of <br /> an amended grant application to the Federal Aviation <br /> Administration for FY 94 A.I.P. Project No. 3-48-0195-12-94, a <br /> copy of which is attached to and incorporated in this resolution <br /> is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City accepts the amended grant offer from <br /> the FAA for A.I.P. Project No. 3-48-0195-12-94. <br /> PART 3. That the terms and conditions of the amended grant <br /> agreement between the City and the FAA for A. I.P. Project No. <br /> 3-48-0195-12-94 are approved. <br /> PART 4. That the expenditure of 10~ of.. the total amended <br /> grant award as the City's 10~ contribution to the grant project is <br /> approved. <br /> PART 5. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br /> authorized to execute the amended grant agreement on behalf of the <br /> City. <br /> PART 6.
