RESOLUTION 2013 -03R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND BLX GROUP, LLC FOR THE PROVISION OF ARBITRAGE REBATE COMPLIANCE SERVICES FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $101,000.00 WHICH INCLUDES AN INCREASE OF $54,000.00 ABOVE THE PREVIOUS CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $47,000.00; RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER'S EXECUTION OF THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 1. On September 1, 2011, the City entered into an agreement with BLX Group, LLC (the "Consultant ") for the provision of arbitrage rebate compliance services (the "Agreement ") for the City's Finance Department in a not to exceed amount of $47,000.00. 2. The Consultant has submitted, for the City's approval, ACIS No. 1 for the extension of its services to cover arbitrage rebate compliance services for FYE 2012 and FYE 2013 in the estimated not -to- exceed total of $54,000.00. 4. The approval of this Authorization of Change in Services No. 1 will cause the Agreement to exceed the previous Agreement amount of $47,000.00, and triggers the need for City Council approval of the Agreement. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The Agreement between the City and the Consultant, dated September 1, 2011 for the provision of arbitrage rebate compliance services in the total amount of $101,000.00 which includes an increase of $54,000.00 above the previous contract amount of $47,000.00; is approved. PART 2. The City Manager's execution of the Agreement on behalf of the City is ratified. PART 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its passage.
