<br />- ~ -::J- ~§' 75 <br />Ç;) <br />Q ~ E]j <br />W~ Q <br /> ~'= <br />:;,J °1 ro, u..J~ ORDINANCE NO. 1994 - 86 <br />=lJ)j 6 en..... <br /> :::-° - <br />~~ ~ t::~ <br />-< C,,;)õ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET <br /> ORDINANCE FOR THE 1994-1995 FISCAL YEAR TO <br /> PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE RIO <br /> VISTA DAM AND ADJACENT PROPERTY FROM THE <br /> SOUTHWEST TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY SUPPORT <br /> FOUNDATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of <br /> the City of San Marcos, Texas, the City Council declares that a <br /> public necessity exists which requires amendment of the City's <br /> 1994-95 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1994-1995 <br /> Fiscal Year is hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit <br /> A, in order to provide funding for the purchase of the Rio Vista <br /> Dam and adjacent property from the Southwest Texas State <br /> University Support Foundation. <br /> SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which <br /> shall be the amended budget for the City of San Marcos¡ Texas, for <br /> the fiscal year 1993-1994, are hereby approved and adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an <br /> emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the <br /> provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be <br /> presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall <br /> become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following <br /> the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions <br /> are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br /> in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its <br /> publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City <br /> as provided by the City Charter of the City of San Marcos. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December , <br /> 1994. ~M~is~ <br /> Mayor <br /> At¥est , ~ ~ t/ <br /> 7 !t~ ::3; P¡klVl <br /> J ý' is K. womack <br /> City Secretary <br /> Approved: <br /> ~ ~,-\!::,~ <br /> Mark B.
