MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Thomason, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the extension <br />of the Residential Home Improvement Incentive Program for Calendar year 2013. The motion <br />carried. <br />32.Discuss and consider final appointments and charge to the 2013 Charter Review <br />Commission, and provide direction to Staff. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Prather, the City Council voted (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the appointments of <br />Mike Narvaiz, Melissa Derrick, Scott Gregson, Jane Hughson, Rosina Valle, Kathy Morris, and <br />Dwayne Thomason to the Charter Review Commission. The motion carried. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides and a second by Council <br />Member Thomason, the City Council voted (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the charge <br />to the Charter Review Commission. The motion carried. <br />33.Question and Answer Session with Press and Public <br />Jay Heibert, Sierra Circle, asked if the previous questions regarding Item # 19 had been <br />answered. Council Member Becak stated yes. <br />He asked about the purchase price. Jim Nuse stated that we were going through the appraisal <br />process. He asked in regards to Item #32 if proper vetting of the Ethics Policy had taken place. <br />City Attorney, Michael Cosentino, stated that there is a nepotism chapter in the Charter. <br />34.Ad_i ournment <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather and a second by Council Member <br />Thomason, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular <br />meeting of the San Marcos City Council at 10:04 p.m. on January 15, 2013.
