<br /> 81 <br /> RESOLUTION 1994- 181 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE <br /> WAIVER OF A PORTION OF CERTAIN BUILDING <br /> PERMIT FEES FOR SOUTHS IDE COMMUNITY <br /> CENTER, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. Southside Community Center will soon begin the <br /> rehabilitation of 24 single family homes in San Marcos under <br /> a grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community <br /> Affairs. <br /> 2. Souths ide has requested that the City waive <br /> building permit fees for the rehabilitation of these homes. <br /> 3. The City wishes to support Southside in its <br /> rehabilitation of these homes by walvlng a portion of the <br /> building permit fees. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the City agrees to waive up tø 50% of the <br /> building permit fee for the rehabilitation of each of the <br /> homes listed on the letter attached to this Resolution. <br /> PART 2.
