<br /> .~ 93 <br />",- y <br />. <br />~ STATE OF TEXAS § <br />.-/ <br /> AMENDMENT NO.1 TO AGREEMENT OF <br /> § LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> AND HAYS-CALDWELL WOMEN'S CENTER, INC. <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS § <br /> The City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation organized, and existing <br /> under the laws of the State of Texas, Lessor, and Hays-Caldwell Women's Center, Inc. <br /> Lessee, formerly known as the Hays County Women's Center, Inc., agree to amend the <br /> lease agreement entered into between them on March 14, 1983. <br /> 1. Lessor and Lessee agree to amend the second unnumbered paragraph, which <br /> immediately follows the sub-heading "Witnesseth:" to read as follows: <br /> Lessor, for and in consideration of the rental hereinafter <br /> specified to be paid by Lessee, and the covenants and <br /> . <br /> agreements hereinafter contained, by Lessee to be kept and <br /> performed, and for the further consideration of the construction <br /> by Lessee of certain improvements to the premises, said <br /> improvements to remain and be surrendered with the <br /> premises, has leased to Lessee those certain premises in the <br /> City of San Marcos, County of Hays, State of Texas, being a <br /> 1.39 acre parcel of land in the J.M. Veramendi Survey No.2 <br /> and being more particularly described in Exhibit "A", which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated into this lease agreement. <br /> Lessee shall have and hold said parcel, described fully in <br /> Exhibit "A", on the following terms and conditions: <br /> 2.
