49 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1993 - 5 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE TEXAS <br />COMMLrNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CONTRACT NO. <br />700068 BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE TEXAS <br />DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City and the Texas Department of Commerce <br />(succeeded as to this contract by the Texas Department of Housing <br />and Community Affairs) entered into Community Development Program <br />Contract No. 700068 for an affordable housing program on January <br />15, 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the contracting parties desire to amend this <br />contract to extend its term to December 31, 1993; now, therefore <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of Amendment No. 1 to <br />the Texas Community Development Program Contract No. 700068 <br />attached to this Resolution between the City and the Texas <br />Department of Housing and Community Affairs are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> PART 2. That ~he City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is hereby <br />authorized to execute this Amendment on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
