( L3 ;V specifically understood and agreed that Lessor shall have no personal liability with respect to any of the covenants, condi tions or provisions of this Lease. In the event of a breach or default by Lessor of any of its obligations under this Lease, Lessee shall look solely to the equity of Lessor in the leased premises for the satisfaction of Lessee's remedies, and Lessee shall have no right to seek, obtain or enforce a claim or judgment against Lessor for any deficiency remaining, following exhaustion of Lessor's equity in the leased premises. 17.10 The term "lease year," as used herein, shall, in the case of the first lease year, means the period which commences with the commencement date of the lease term and terminates on the last day of the twelfth full calendar month after the commencement, and the first lease year shall, therefore, include twelve full calendar months plus the partial month, if any, at the commencement of the lease term, if the lease term does not commence on the first day of a calendar month. Each subsequent lease year shall mean a period of twelve full calendar months I commencing with the date following the last day of the first lease year, and each subsequent anniversary of that day. In the case of the last lease year of the lease term, the period shall include the period which commences on the day immediately. following the last day of the preceding lease year and terminates on the last day of the lease term, and the parties recognize that the last lease year may be less than twelve full calendar months, depending on the date of termination of the lease term. ARTICLE. XVIII. Notices. 18.1. Wherever any notice is required or permitted hereunder, the notice shall be in writing. Any notice or document required or permitted to be delivered, whether actually received or not, when deposited in the United States mail, postage prepaid, certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed to the -24-
