/7-31 FIELD NOTES A parcel of land containing 7003 square feet and occupied by a frame building containing 3639 square feet at the San Marcos Airport; this parcel lies wholly within that 1378.3381 acre San Marcos Airport tract out of the William Pettus Two League Grant, Caldwell County, Texas, as shown on that plat dated 12 September 1989 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor. This parcel is shown on a plat dated 8 February 1993 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor, and is more particularly described by metes and bounds in the following paragraphs. Bearings are based on the center line bearing .of State Highway Department No. 21 as shown on the right of way map of the Texas Highway Department dated March 1937, as the center line was found marked on the ground between stations 129 + 53 and 158 + 10. The point cited herein as the West Reference Mark (point 50) is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole near the west end of the concrete parking ramp, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. The point cited herein as the East Reference Point (point 51) is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole in the concrete parking ramp opposite the east legs of the old control tower, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. From the West Reference Mark, the East Reference Mark bears South 89 degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of 1505.44 feet. Beginning at a point marked with a 3/4 inch 1. D. iron pipe at the northeast corner of this 7003 square foot tract (point 1663) from which which the East Reference Point (point 51) bears North 83 degrees 31 minutes 03 seconds East a distance of 7.36.34 feet, and the West Reference Point (point 50) b~ears North 83 degrees 49 minutes 20 seconds West a distance of 778.33 feet. Additionally, from point 1663 a corner of the 1378.3381 acre tract (point 996) bears South 81 degrees 18 minutes 47 seconds East a distance of 2144.62 feet. Thence, from the point of beginning, South 00 degrees 06 minutes 47 seconds East a distance of 6.00 feet to the northeast corner (point 1651) of the said building; thence continuing South 00 degrees 06 minutes 47 seconds East along the east line of the building a distance of 20.57 feet to the southeast corner of the east wing of the building (point 1649); I thence South 89 degrees 57 minutes 46 seconds West along the south line of the building a distance of 37.09 feet to the point of intersection with the west line of the concrete parking slab (point 1650); thence South 00 degrees 05 minutes 08 seconds West along the west line of the concrete parking slab a distance of 99.80 feet to its intersection with the north line of a westerly extension of the concrete slab (point 1653); thence South 89 degrees 52 minutes 00 seconds West along the north line of the concrete slab a distance of 12.46 feet to the northwest corner of the concrete slab (point 1655); thence South 87 degrees 31 minutes 32 seconds West a distance of 6.33 feet to the southeast corner of the south wing of the building (point 1654); thence North 89 degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds West along the south line of the building a distance of 20.63 feet to the south- west corner of the south wing of the building (point 1657); thence North 89 degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 8.07 feet to the southwest corner of this parcel (point 1667), which is marked with a 3/4 inch 1. D. iron pipe; thence North 00 degrees 01 minutes 26 seconds East along the west line of this tract a distance of 126.60 feet to the north- east corner of this parcel (point 1664), which is marked with a 3/4 inch 1.
