<br />40 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1993- 49 R <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO STOKES <br />CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR COMPLETION OF THE <br />WAREHOUSE ADDITION FOR THE SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC <br />UTILITY; ACCEPTING THE PROJECT FOR USE BY THE CITY; <br />AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$63,420.55; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has engaged the <br />services of Stokes Construction Company for completion of the <br />Warehouse Addition for the San Marcos Electric Utility; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these services were provided pursuant to a <br />contract between the City and the contractor, executed on <br />September 17, 1992; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the proj ect known as the Warehouse <br />Addition for the San Marcos Electric Utility has been <br />completed pursuant to that contract of September 17, 1992, <br />between the City and Stokes Construction Com~any and is <br />hereby accepted for use by the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PART 2. That payment in the amount of $63,420.55 to <br />Stokes Construction Company in full and final payment for <br />these services is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full <br />force and effect from and after its passage. . <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 22nd day of March, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />\~or~.
