<br />" 86 <br />:IE ",¡ ~ <br />3~ ~ <C. <br />g ---: t;; ~ <br />ll- ~ =- <br />J-b -.. ß! <br />ï:~ ~ i¡ JGj <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1993- 29 <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CURRENT FEE SCHEDULED <br />ORDINANCE AND ESTABLISHING FEES FOR MINIATURE <br />SWINE, IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE SAN <br />MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER THREE, ANIMAL <br />AND FOWL, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: . <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the Fee Schedule Ordinance, Sec. 1 is amended <br />as follows: <br /> <br />(1) Standard Licensinq Fees: <br /> <br />Miniature swine, dog or cat. . . . . Annual fee of <br />$5.00 <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the Fee Schedule Ordinance, Sec. 4 is amended <br />as follows: <br />(4) Impoundment and Miscellaneous Fees: <br />Impoundment fee: <br />Miniature swine, dog or cat not licensed..... $35.00 <br />Miniature swine, dog or cat licensed......... $20.00 <br />Fowl or other small animal................... $25.00 <br /> <br /> <br />Li vestock ................................... $ 5 0 . 00 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the Fee Schedule Ordinance, Sec. 5 is amended <br />as follows: <br /> <br />(5) Adoption Fees: <br /> <br />Dog- Rabies Certificate..................... $ 8.00 <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or <br />paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or <br />invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining <br />provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect as if the <br />unconstitutional or invalid portion had not been adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts of <br />ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. That any person violating any provision of this <br />ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon <br />conviction shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 1-5 <br />of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br />days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a <br />newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the <br />Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading March 22, 1993. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading April 12¡ 1993. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED April 26, 1993. <br />
