<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND
<br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM
<br /> PERMANENT OPEN SPACE AND/OR FLOODPLAIN TO
<br /> PUBLIC FOR A 0.275 ACRE PARCEL OF LAND IN THE
<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS,
<br /> LOCATED AT 401 JACKMAN STREET AND DECLARING
<br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on January 5, 1993, the Zoning Commission of the city
<br /> of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend
<br /> the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Permanent Open
<br /> Space and/or Floodplain to Public for a 0.275 acre parcel of land,
<br /> in the city of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at 401
<br /> Jackman Street; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, on January 12, 1993, the Planning Commission of the
<br /> ci ty of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to
<br /> amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Permanent
<br /> Open Space and/or Floodplain to Public for a 0.275 acre parcel of
<br /> land, in the city of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas1 located at 401
<br /> Jackman Street; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearings on those dates, the
<br /> Commissions did, on January 5 and January 12, 1993, consider the
<br /> request and voted to approve it and have recommended that the
<br /> request be approved by the city Council of the City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on thel0thday
<br /> of May , 1993, regarding the request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the
<br /> public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That a 0.275 acre parcel of land more particularly
<br /> described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated
<br /> herein for all purposes, located at 401 Jackman Street, San Marcos,
<br /> Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land
<br /> use Plan Map of the Master Plan of the city of San Marcos as
<br /> Permanent Open Space and/or Floodplain shall be shown on that map
<br /> as Public.
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
<br /> effect from and after its passage.
