Qè3 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 86R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND OFFICE AND <br /> PROFESSIONAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR A 42.3 ACRE <br /> PARCEL OF LAND IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS <br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 2101 IH-35 SOUTH <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on January 26, 1993, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br /> Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing <br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br /> Plan from High Density Residential and Office and Professional to <br /> Commercial for a 42.3 acre parcel of land in the city of San <br /> Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at 2101 IH-35 South; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br /> Commissions did, on January 26, 1993, consider the request and <br /> voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be <br /> approved by the city Council of the City; and, <br /> .. <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council held a public hearing on the 10th day <br /> of May , 1993, regarding the request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br /> public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That a 42.3 acre parcel of land more particularly <br /> described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein for all purposes, located at 2101 IH-35 South, San Marcos, <br /> Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land <br /> Use Plan Map of the Master Plan of the city of San Marcos as High <br /> Density Residential and Office and Professional shall be shown on <br /> that map as Commercial. <br /> PART 2.
