DRIVE TO YOUNGER STREET; PROVIDING FOR <br /> PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on November 10, 1992 the Planning Commission of <br /> the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a <br /> request to change the name of Lamar Avenue between Chestnut <br /> Street and North L.B.J. Drive to Younger Street; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, <br /> the Planning Commission did, on November 10, 1992, approve <br /> the request and has recommended that the request be approved <br /> by the City 'Council of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the <br /> 26thdayof April , 1993, regarding the request; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Chapter 25 of the Code'of <br /> Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to street <br /> name changes have been met; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the street name of Lamar Avenue between <br /> Chestnut Street and North L.B.J. Drive is hereby changed to <br /> Younger Street. <br /> SECTION 2.
