<br />~ ç). ~ß 38 <br />w":i¡f G"' :"'C -ลก <br />\1,1 g :-~ w:IE <br />.." üC: <br />'f"-O . :-..l ~ <br />~ .," ~- <br />-;.; . §: f;:: 4:» <br />c:::I: -Þ <br />~'- ~D <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1993-~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br />ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING LOT 1,' <br />~ BLOCK 5, OF THE SUNSET ACRES ADDITION TO THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, UNIT NO.1 AS RECORDED IN <br />VOLUME 158, PAGE 393 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED <br />RECORDS, LOCATED AT 520 PATRICIA DRIVE FROM <br />"c" COMMERCIAL TO "R-l" SINGLE-FAMILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on Februray 2, 1993, the Zoning commission of the <br />city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to <br />change the zoning from "c" Commercial District to "R-l" Single- <br />Family Dwelling District (Low Density) for Lot 1, Block 5 of the <br />Sunset Acres Addition to the City of San Marcos, Unit No.1, as <br />recorded in Volume 158, Page 393 of the Hays County Deed Records, <br />located at 520 Patricia Drive. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on~that date, the <br />Commission did, on February 2, 1993 consider the request and voted <br />to approve it and has recommended that the request be approved by <br />the City Council of the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the ?4rh <br />day of May, 1993, regarding the request; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning <br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the city of San Marcos <br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and, <br />, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the <br />public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the city, as <br />described in Section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance is hereby <br />amended to rezone the following described real property located in <br />San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "C" <br />Commercial District to "R-l" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low <br />Density) : <br /> <br />LOT 1, BLOCK 5, OF THE SUNSET ACRES ADDITION TO THE CITY <br />OF SAN,MARCOS, UNIT NO.1, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 158, PAGE <br />393 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br />days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to <br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting <br />following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote <br />to reconsider it. 'If reconsidered on June 28, 1993 it shall be <br />I in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if <br />approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not <br />reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the <br />city of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this14th day of June, 1993, <br />subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting <br />scheduled for June 28, 1993 . <br />
