<br /> 49 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1993 - 113 f <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS ACCEPTING A GRANT OFFER FROM THE <br /> FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR PROJECT NO. <br /> 3-48-0195-11-93 AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL <br /> AIRPORT, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE <br /> GRANT AGREEMENT; APPROVING THE CITY'S CONTRIBUTION <br /> TO THE PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on December 14, 1992 the City applied for <br />federal assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration <br />(flFAAII) to accomplish the second part of a multi-year airport <br />improvement program at the San Marcos Municipal Airport; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on May 28, 1993 the City receivednotifiçation <br />from the FAA that funding has been awarded to the City for <br />Project No. 3-48-0195-11-93, contingent upon the City's <br />acceptance of the grant offer; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~ CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the City accepts the grant offer from the <br />FAA for Project No. 3-48-0195-11-93 for the construction of <br />certain improvement projects at the San Marcos Municipal <br />Airport. <br /> PART 2. That the Grant Agreement between the City and <br />the FAA for Project No. 3-48-0195-11-93, a copy of which is <br />attached and incorporated herein for all purposes, is <br />approved. I <br /> PART 3. That the expenditure of $76,381.00 as the <br />City's 10% contribution to the grant project is approved. <br /> PART 4. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 5.
