Matthew Chambers — reappointed to 2nd alternate <br />The Council provided direction to Staff to bring back an ASG recommendation for the <br />Neighborhood Commission, bring back as a discussion item the Neighborhood Commission <br />composition and charge, and to also bring back for discussion and review the attendance policy <br />for all boards and commissions. <br />7. Invocation <br />A moment of silence was observed. <br />8. Pledges of Allegiance - United States and Texas <br />Pledges were led by the City Council <br />9. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br />Jaimy Breihan, 134 E. Hillcrest, addressed the Council regarding the Lazy Oaks Ranch <br />Development Agreement and his concerns regarding placing waste water lines through the area. <br />He stated that he is concerned about the density causing contamination of the water supply in <br />that area. <br />Stephen Ramirez, 203 W. Mimosa Circle, addressed the Council as a representative of "Save our <br />Springs Alliance" out of Austin. He stated that he and his organization strongly oppose the Lazy <br />Oaks Ranch Development Agreement. He stated that he felt that the east side of the interstate <br />needs more housing as opposed to the west side. <br />Charles Soechting, 107 Oak Shadow, addressed the Council regarding the Lazy Oaks Ranch <br />Development Agreement. He stated that no one in that area is happy with this deal. He stated <br />that these people bought a bad piece of property and will want to flip it as quick as possible. He <br />felt that this isn't responsible. <br />Thomas Rhodes, ETR Development, 401 Dryden Lane, addressed the Council regarding the <br />Lazy Oaks Ranch Development Agreement and asked for the Council's positive consideration. <br />Dianne Wassenich, 11 Tanglewood, addressed the Council regarding the Lazy Oaks Ranch <br />Development Agreement. She referenced a letter that was sent to the Council on behalf of the <br />Purgatory Creek Alliance on January 15, 2013, and summarized this for the Council and public. <br />Eric West, 1805 N. IH 35 Apt. 28E, addressed the Council regarding handicapped accessibility <br />and the treatment of handicapped individuals here in San Marcos.
