<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND
<br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM
<br /> LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC FOR LOT 38,
<br /> OF BLOCK A, PARKLANE GARDEN HOMES SUBDIVISION,
<br /> , PHASE II AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 5, PAGE 165 OF
<br /> THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS AND LOT 59 OF
<br /> i BLOCK A AND LOT 33 OF BLOCK B OF THE SUNRIDGE
<br /> P.U.D. SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 4,
<br /> PAGES 309-311 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS,
<br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on May 25, 1993 the Planning and zoning commissions
<br /> of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request
<br /> to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Low
<br /> Density Residential to Public for Lot 38 of Block A, Parklane
<br /> Garden homes Subdivision, Phase II as recorded in Volume 5, Page
<br /> 165 of the Hays County Plat Records and Lot 59 of Block A and Lot
<br /> 33 of Block B of the sunridge P.U.D. Subdivision as recorded in
<br /> Volume 4, Pages 309-311, in the City of San Marcos, Hays County,
<br /> Texas; and, ~
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearings on those dates, the
<br /> commissions did, on May 25,1993, consider the request and voted to
<br /> approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by the
<br /> City council of the city; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City council held a public hearing on the 12thday
<br /> of July , 1993'¡ regarding the request; and,
<br /> August 9, 1993,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the city Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the
<br /> public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br /> located along Lancaster Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br /> which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master
<br /> Plan of the City of San Marcos as Low Density Residential shall be
<br /> shown on that map as Public:
<br /> LOT 38 OF BLOCK A, PARKLANE GARDEN HOMES SUBDIVISION,
<br /> PHASE II AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 5, PAGE 165 OF THE HAYS
<br /> COUNTY PLAT RECORDS AND LOT 59 OF BLOCK A AND LOT 33 OF
<br /> BLOCK B OF THE SUNRIDGE P.U.D. SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED IN
<br /> VOLUME 4, PAGES 309-311 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT
<br /> RECORDS.
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
<br /> effect from and after its passage.
<br /> ADOPTED this 9th day of August , 1993 .
