<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY'
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
<br /> ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING LOTS 1, 2
<br /> AND 10-27 OF BLOCK A, AND LOTS 1-10, 13-20 AND
<br /> 23-26 OF BLOCK B OF P ARKLANE GARDEN HOMES,
<br /> PHASE I, REVISED AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 5, PAGE
<br /> 163 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, AND LOTS
<br /> 28-37, 39-44 AND 60-75 OF BLOCK A AND LOTS 27-
<br /> 32 AND 34-68 OF BLOCK B OF SUNRIDGE P.U.D.

<br /> BLOCKS OF LANCASTER STREET, FROM "PUD" PLANNED
<br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO "R-1" SINGLE-
<br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) AND
<br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on May 25,1993, the Zoning commission of the City of
<br /> San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the
<br /> zoning from "PUD" Planned unit Development District to "R-1f1
<br /> single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) for Lots 1,2 and 10-
<br /> 27 of Block A, and Lots 1-10, 13-20 and 23-26 of Block B of
<br /> parklane Garden Homes, Phase I, Revised as recorded in Volume 5,
<br /> Page 163 of the Hays County Plat Records and Lots 28-37, 39-44 and
<br /> 60-75 of Block A and Lots 27-32 and 34-68 of Block B of sunridge
<br /> P.U.D. Subdivision as recorded in Volume 4, Pages 309-311 of the
<br /> Hays County Plat Records; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br /> commission did, on May 25, 1993 consider the request and voted to
<br /> approve it and has recommended that the request be approved by the
<br /> City Council of the City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the city Council held a public hearing on the 12th
<br /> day of July , 1993/ regarding the request; and,
<br /> and the 9th day of August, 1993,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br /> ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the
<br /> public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the city, as
<br /> described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby
<br /> amended to rezone the following described real property located in
<br /> the 1600, 1700, 1800 and 1900 Blocks of Lancaster Street, San
<br /> Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "PUD" Planned
<br /> unit Development District to "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District
<br /> (Low Density):
<br /> LOTS 1, 2 AND 10-27 OF BLOCK AI AND LOTS 1-10, 13-20 AND
<br /> 23-26 OF BLOCK B OF P ARKLANE GARDEN HOMES, PHASE I,
<br /> REVISED AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 5, PAGE 163 OF THE HAYS
<br /> COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, AND LOTS 28-37, 39-44 AND 60-75 OF
<br /> BLOCK A AND LOTS 27-32 AND 34-68 OF BLOCK B OF SUNRIDGE
