<br /> 16 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993 - 185 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS RATIFYING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER'S VOTE IN FAVOR OF THE FIRST AMENDED <br /> PLAN OF REORGANIZATION FOR THE BROWN SCHOOLS <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, INC., AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the Ci ty as a creditor of the Brown Schools of San <br />Marcos, Inc. has filed a proof of claim for unpaid utility bills <br />in the amount of $26,020.25 in the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Suit, <br />Case Number 91-13741-LK¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City believes that the First Amended Plan of <br />Reorganization on file in this cause provides for the maximum <br />distribution to creditors such as the City¡ now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the action of the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley <br />in voting in favor of the First Amended Plan of Reorganization for <br />the Brown Schools of San Marcos, Inc. is hereby ratified. <br /> . <br /> PART 2.
