<br /> 39 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 194 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS AND HAYS COUNTY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT <br /> AND OPERATION OF A DRUG TASK FORCE; AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF <br /> THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on April 23, 1990 the City of San Marcos <br />entered into an agreement with Hays County for the <br />establishment and operation of the Hays County Drug Task <br />Force; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Agreement to <br />provide for annual review of the proposed budget of the Task <br />Force, and to provide for termination of the Agreement in the <br />event of unavailability of City or County funding for the <br />agreement; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That Amendment No. 2 to the Interlocal <br />Agreement for the Hays County Drug Task Force between the <br />City and Hays County, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, is hereby <br />approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />authorized to execute this Amendment No. 2 on behalf of the <br />City. <br /> PART 3.
