43 RESOLUTION 1993- 197 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN .. MARCOS I TEXAS I APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. ONE TO THE OFFICE SUPPLY CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND KLIPPLE BUSINESS PRODUCTS TO SUBSTITUTE ADVANCED BUSINESS SYSTEMS I INC. AS CONTRACTOR; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS I on July 11 1993 the City of San Marcos ("City") entered into a contract with Klipple Business Products ( II Contractor ") for the purchase of office supplies; andl WHEREAS, on May 241 1993 both parties agreed to an extension of the original contract for an additional year; andl WHEREAS I the Contractor has notified the City of its intention to sell its office supply business to Advanced Business Systems I Inc.; and I WHEREAS I Advanced Business Systems I Inc. wishes to provide office supplies to the City under thè terms and conditions of the original agreement between Klipple Business Products and the City from now until January 31, 1994; nowl therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS I TEXAS: PART L That Amendment No. 1 to the Office Supply Contract between the City and Klipple Business Products, to substitute Advanced Business Systems I Inc. as Contractor for a term until January 311 19941 a 'copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes I is approved. PART 2. That the City Manager I Larry D. GilleYI be and he is hereby authorized to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City. PART 3.
