RESOLUTION 2013 -42R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL <br />CONTRACT WITH GENE BAGWELL, DBA MAINTENANCE <br />MANAGEMENT FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE <br />SAN MARCOS CEMETERY; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS <br />RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />L On March 12, 2007 the City Council of the City of the City of San Marcos <br />approved an annual contract for the management and operation of the San Marcos Cemetery (the <br />"Contract ") with Gene Bagwell, dba Maintenance Management. <br />2. On. March 18, 2008, March 3, 2009, March 23, 2010, March 1, 2011 and February <br />21, 2012 the City Council approved one year extensions of the Contract. <br />3. Both. parties agree to a sixth extension of the contract with a 1.98% Consumer <br />Price Index increase. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. This sixth extension of the Contract with Gene Bagwell, dba Maintenance <br />Management for the management and operation of the San Marcos Cemetery is approved. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl is authorized. to execute <br />appropriate documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
