<br /> 59 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 201R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING INTERVENTION <br /> BY THE CITY IN PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION OF <br /> TEXAS (PUCT) DOCKET NOS. 12461 AND 12462 <br /> REGARDING APPLICATIONS BY THE LOWER COLORADO. <br /> RIVER AUTHORITY (LCRA) TO RECONCILE FUEL <br /> REVENUES AND EXPENSES, AND TO LOWER ITS FUEL <br /> FACTOR, RESPECTIVELY; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, LCRA has filed an application with the PUCT, <br />designated Docket No. 12461, to reconcile its fuel revenues and <br />expenses; and, <br />WHEREAS, LCRA has filed an application with the PUCT, <br />designated Docket No. 12462, to lower its fixed fuel factor; and, <br />WHEREAS, the city's electric utility rate consultant, Mr. Fred <br />Saffer, and its electric utility legal counsel, Mr. Bob Kahn of <br />Davidson & Troilo, have recommended that the City invervene in <br />these proceedings to protect the interests of the City's <br />ratepayers; now, therefore, . <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART L That the invervention by the city in PUCT Docket Nos. <br />12461 and 12462 is hereby approved. <br />PART 2. That the city Manager, Larry D. Gilley and city <br />Attorney, Mark B. Taylor, are authorized to coordinate the City's <br />invervention actions with the city's electric utility rate <br />consultant and legal counsel. , <br />PART 3.
