<br /> 64 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 205 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR A IITRASERII TRAFFIC <br /> SAFETY PROGRAM¡ AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AND RELATED DOCUMENTS¡ AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has received <br /> funding from the State Department of Transportation (the <br /> IIState") for a traffic safety program grant described as <br /> TRASER for the past five years; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City has been notified that the State <br /> has approved funding for the TRASER program for the 1993-94 <br /> budget year; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a contract <br /> with the State for a TRASER program; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> ~ <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a <br /> contract between the State and the City for the funding of a <br /> traffic safety program grant described as TRASER, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br /> intents and purposes are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, <br /> is hereby authorized to execute the contract and all other <br /> documents related to the TRASER Program on behalf of the City <br /> of San Marcos. <br /> , <br /> PART 3.
