<br /> 76 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 209R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> PERMANENT OPEN SPACE AND/OR FLOODPLAIN TO LOW' <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR LOT 15, McKIE'S <br /> ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AS SHOWN <br /> ON THE PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME X, PAGE 547 OF <br /> THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT 1025 <br /> GRAVEL STREET AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on August 31, 1993, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br /> commissions of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing <br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br /> Plan from Permanent Open Space and/or Floodplain to Low Dens i ty <br /> Residential for Lot 15, McKie's Addition to the city of San <br /> Marcos, according to the plat recorded in Volume X, Page 547 of the <br /> Hays County Deed Records, in the city of San Marcos, Hays County, <br /> Texas, located at 1025 Gravel Street; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br /> Commissions did, on August 31,1993, consider the request and voted <br /> to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by <br /> the City Council of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 6th day <br /> of December , 1993, regarding the request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br /> public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That Block 2, Lot 15, McKie's Addition to the City of <br /> San Marcos, as shown on the plat recorded in Volume X, Page 547 of <br /> the Hays County Deed Records, city of San Marcos, Hays County, <br /> Texas, located at 1025 Gravel Street, which is in an area shown on <br /> the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the city of San <br /> Marcos as Permanent Open Space and/or Floodplain shall be shown on <br /> that map as Low Density Residential. <br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and <br /> effect from and after its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this 6th day of oecrber , 1993.. <br /> VVt.
