<br /> 92 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 215 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> INDUSTRIAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR LOTS 17-21 OF THE, <br /> MUNICIPAL AIRPORT SUBDIVISION AS SHOWN ON THE <br /> PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 163, PAGE 160 OF THE <br /> HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT 2537-2553 <br /> IH-35 SOUTH AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on August 31, 1993, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />commissions of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing <br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br />Plan from Industrial to Commercial for Lots 17-21 of the Municipal <br />Airport Subdivision as shown on the plat recorded in Volume 163, <br />Page 160 of the Hays County Deed Records, in the city of San <br />Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at 2537-2553 IH-35 South; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Commissions did, on August 31,1993, consider the request and voted <br />to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by <br />the city Council of the city; and, ~ <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council held a public hearing on the13thday <br />of December , 1993, regarding the request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br />public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> , <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That Lots 17-21 of the Municipal Airport Subdivision <br />as shown on the plat recorded in Volume 163, Page 160 of the Hays <br />County Deed Records, city of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, <br />located at 2537-2553 IH-35 South, which is in an area shown on the <br />Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the city of San Marcos <br />as Industrial shall be shown on that map as Commercial. <br /> PART 2.
