<br />¡'is, ~ ~J 94 <br /> (j" <br />'.... - <br />~ ~ II <br />UO 0 <br />-~ c...:¡ $:'8 <br />II.: LL..: <br /> L:::) _b <br /> ~a <br /> ORDINANCE 1993- 90 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DISANNEXING 35.28 ACRES <br /> OF LAND IN LOT 1, SECTION 2 OF THE SAN MARCOS <br /> RANCH SUBDIVISION IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br /> LOCATED NEAR RANCH ROAD 12, FROM THE <br /> TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY; DECLARING AN <br /> EMERGENCY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council annexed the tract of property <br /> described in the attached Exhibit "A", consisting of 35.28 acres of <br /> land in Lot 1, section 2 of the San Marcos Ranch Subdivision, in <br /> Hays County, Texas in Ordinance No. 1983-77, dated December 19, <br /> 1983; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to disannex this property <br /> from the territorial limits of the city; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the 35.28 acre tract ofpropeEty described in <br /> the attached Exhibit "A", situated in Lot 1, section 2 of the San <br /> Marcos Ranch Subdivision, in Hays County, Texas is hereby <br /> disannexed and removed from the territorial limits of the city of <br /> San Marcos. <br /> SECTION 2. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an <br /> emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the provisions <br /> of the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be presented at <br /> three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become <br /> effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date <br /> of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby <br /> suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full <br /> force and effect from and after its adoption and after its <br /> publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the city <br /> as provided by the City Charter of the City of San Marcos. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of December , 1993. <br /> I~o~.
