<br /> ~ / IfoA 0 <br /> , <br /> 7.0 Hardware Specifications <br /> 7.01 Scope. <br /> The intent of these specifications is to secure a contract for the purchase of an -. <br /> Interactive Computer System for the Automation of Municipal Court. The <br /> vendor is required to submit each hardware configuration for all hardware <br /> platfonns which the application software can run on. <br /> 7.02 General Hardware Requirements. <br /> A. All equipment proposed for this project must be new and unused as <br /> either demonstration equipment or test equipment. <br /> B. All equipment proposed for this project must be models which are still <br /> in production by the original manufacturer. The City desires the most <br /> advanced hardware available. <br /> C. All equipment proposed for this project must be fully warrantable by <br /> the original manufacturer and be qualified for manufacturer preventive <br /> maintenance. <br /> D. All equipment proposed must be fully adequate to'perform all <br /> functional tasks within the defined perfonnance requirements of the <br /> proposal documents. <br /> E. The system shall support microcomputers in lieu of tenninals, if <br /> applicable, and vendor must state their recommended method of <br /> attaching microcomputers to the computer. This method could be a <br /> network attachment or the microcomputer could be used as a tenninal, <br /> utilizing a tenninal emulation software package. If the latter is <br /> suggested, vendor should make a recommendation regarding the <br /> I <br /> tenninal emulation software and the retail list price. <br /> F. All computer hardware must be installed by vendor. <br /> 7.03 Network. <br /> If the hardware platfonn in this configuration requires a network to run the <br /> application software, the vendor must provide the following information <br /> regarding the network. <br /> A.
