TX (hereinafter, the "Customer") in the installation of a turn-key records <br /> management system, as specified, furnishing software programs designed to facilitate a <br /> multi-user environment utilizing IBM's AIX operating system and supported on the <br /> proposed RSj6000 minicomputer [reference BID from OIV SYstems. Inc.]. . <br /> The software will be installed by trained technicians experienced in the installation <br /> of computer systems at municipal court departments. Through the introduction of an <br /> easy to use Menu system installed on the system, Users will be able to select a chosen <br /> action merely by pressing a letter or number key. There are pre-programmed "help <br /> screens" to provide the User assistance in selecting actions. Password security may be <br /> established throughout the System to prohibit unauthorized access to applications. <br /> Some additional FEATURES of the System include........ <br /> 1) Capable of running database programs such as BADGE for Law Enforcement records <br /> management, and also such optional traditional applications as Word Processing!, with <br /> spelling-check, dictionary, and mail merge capabilities. <br /> 2) The System is capable of multiple levels of security which are controlled by the <br /> Customer. <br /> ~ <br /> , <br /> 1 Pricing for optional word processing is not included with this Proposal. <br /> Very favorable pricing may be obtained from the TEXAS State Department of Information <br /> Resources.
