APPENDIX A 1/(,/!;flJ. VENDOR QUALIFICATIONS - DB Information Systems, Inc. began with an automated program to assist Law Enforcement Departments in completing their State-required Reports. From this initial reporting program, the Company has evolved a complete records management database which is currently being used by more than 100 law enforcement agencies and more than SO municipal courts. The programs proposed herein will enable the Department to automate their citation records, docket records, payment records, and administrative records, and the program still finishes the monthly State-required Reports. Our Clients say that the BADGE Program is very cost-effective and easy-to-use. We take some pride in having been able to satisfy even the most discriminating data processing managers and in introducing non-computer professionals to the use of computer systems as a valued tool. Since we opened our doors in 1987, we have tried to be careful not to let our Company expand at the expense of our customers' software support needs. The quality of our product is best demonstrated by the high percentage of new cli~nts referred to us from existing users. Effective March I, 1992 the Company relocated within Fort Worth to new facilities, and opened a Training Center to make learning about computers and BADGE programs even easier for our USERs. Classes are regularly scheduled for all our BADGE Programs so it is easy for our Customers to receive initial training and recurrent training, as required. Also, whenever possible, our NEW Customers are given priority for scheduling purposes.
