Sec. 5305) <br /> authorizes the provision of assistance to public or private non-profit entities when the assistance <br /> is necessary or appropriate to carry out an economic development project is eligible. <br /> Examples of assistance to non-profit entities may be: <br /> 1) a loan to acquire real property, and <br /> 2) assistance to acquire, construct, reconstruct, or rehabilitate public facilities <br /> (except for buildings for the general conduct of government) to benefit <br /> a specific business or commercial or industrial buildings or structures and <br /> other commercial or industrial real property improvements. <br /> The types of loans/activities which are eligible under the RLF must be specified.
