¿ó This AGREEMENT is made this the 11th day of February , 19 92 , between the CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, hereinafter referred to as "CITY", 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666, and AllERI CAlI APPRAISAL ASSOCIATES, IE., with offices at SignatUI:e Place 1, 14755 Preston Road, Suite 400, Dallas, Texas 75240, hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT", for the completion of a physical inventory of City fixed assets to include land, buildings, vehicles, equipment, easements, and other property. WITNESSETH: OWNER and CONSULTANT do hereby agree as follows: AR".rICLE 1 DEFIIir.rIOR OF ßRIIS 1.1 Accounting Department: A City Department's existing J-digit identification number. 1.2 Acquisition Date: The date that a specific asset was acquired by the City. 1.3 Asset Category: A major group o'f property identifying groupings of assets, i. e., buildings, vehicles, etc. 1.4 Asset Class: A subdivision of property to further identify assets, i. e., weapons, data processing equipment, chairs, furniture, audiovisual equipment, etc. 1.5 Asset Description: Manufacturer's name, model or type number, generic nomenclature, and serial number for each asset. For group-controlled property, the descriptive field will be EDP coded to indicate the generic nomenclature plus appropriate modifiers. 1.6 Asset Location: The physical location of the CITY's assets (property/site, floor, room, etc.). 1.7 Asset Number: A sequentially assigned number (000001) placed on controlled property in the fixed asset system. 1.8 Building Identification: Where used, existing numerical identifications will remain; unidentified space will be numbered sequentially following the last assigned number. 1.9 Condition Codes: A code based on the physical condition of each asset.
