<br /> <br />('J <br />~ <br />0- <br /> <br /> <br />65 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992- <br /> <br />28 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF <br />THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM COMMERCIAL TO <br />LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR BLOCK 7, LOTS 6-11, OF <br />THE 1ST SECTION-VICTORY GARDENS ADDITION TO THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN <br />VOLUME 128, PAGE 46 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, <br />LOCATED IN THE 200 BLOCK OF ARMSTRONG STREET AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 21, 1992, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a pUblic hearing <br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br />Plan from Commercial to Low Density Residential for Block 7, Lots <br />6-11 of the 1st Section-Victory Gardens Addition, to the City of <br />San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 128, Page 46 <br />of the Hays County Deed Records, located in the 200 Block of <br />Armstrong Street; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Commissions did, on January 21, 1992, consider the request and <br />voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be <br />approved by the city Council of the city; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 23rdday <br />of March , 1992, regarding the requestj and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been metj and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br />pUblic, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located in the 200 Block of Armstrong Street, San Marcos, Hays <br />County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map <br />of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Commercial shall be <br />shown on that map as Low Density Residential: <br /> <br />BLOCK 7, LOTS 6-11, 1ST SECTION-VICTORY GARDENS ADDITION TO <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 128, <br />PAGE 46 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS. <br /> <br />PART 2.
