83 37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT OF PIPE AND FITTINGS FOR THE LOOP 82 PROJECT IN ORDER TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THE CITY'S RESIDENTS: APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH 0 & R UTILITIES, INC.: AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE ORDER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY: AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RESOLUTION 1992- R WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation will be widening portions of Loop 82 beginning in May, 1992: and, WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation has requested the City to perform water line adjustments with the State's easement prior to the State beginning construction: now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the emergency procurement of pipe and fittings in connection with the City's utility adjustments on Loop 82 to preserve and protect the public health and safety of the City's residents is approved. PART 2. That the terms and conditions for the purchase of these materials by the City from 0 & R Utilities, Inc. for the provision of these materials, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, are hereby approved. PART 3. That the City Purchasing Manager, Cheryl A. Pantermuehl, be and she is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for these materials on behalf of the City. PART 4.
