AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, WATERWORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, NEW SERIES 1992, IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $1,050,000; PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; PROVIDING FOR THE SECURITY FOR AND PAYMENT OF SAID BONDS; AWARDING THE SALE THEREOF; APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT; ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, waterworks and sewer system revenue bonds of the City of San Marcos, Texas (the "City"), were duly and favorably voted, pursuant to the laws of the State of Texas, at elections held in the City on the dates hereinafter set forth; and the following are among the purposes and amounts of the bonds which were authorized, together with the total amount previously issued pursuant to each voted authorization, the amount therefrom being issued pursuant to this Ordinance, and the balance to remain unissued after the issuance of the bonds hereinafter authorized, to-wit: Total Amount * Amount * Amount * Election Amount * Previously Being Remaining Date Purpose Authorized Issued Issued Unissued 04/07/84 Waterworks System $6,200 $5,150 $1,050 $ -0- 09/08/90 Wastewater Plant and Facilities 2,000 200 -0- 1,800 09/08/90 Water Treatment Facilities 8,500 650 -0- 7,850 09/08/90 Water and Sewer System 1,330 -0- -0- 1,330 *Amounts in thousands. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City (the "City Council") considers it in the best interest of the City at this time to authorize the issuance and delivery of the amount thus reflected, all in a single issue, and all in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, including Articles 1111, et seq., V.A.T.C.S., as anebded; Now, Therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS:
