<br />60 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992- 66R <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF <br />THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM PERMANENT OPEN <br />SPACE FLOODPLAIN AND/OR FLOODPLAIN TO COMMERCIAL FOR <br />3.9 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE <br />#1 IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br />LOCATED AT 1701 HUNTER ROAD AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 17,1991, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing <br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br />Plan from Permanent Open Space and/or Floodplain to Commercial <br />for 3.9 acres of land out of the J.M. Veramendi League #1, to the <br />City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at 1701 Hunter <br />Road; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Commissions did, on December 17, 1991, consider the request and <br />voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be <br />approved by the City Council of the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 8th <br />day of June, 1992, regarding the request; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br />public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That a 3.9 acre parcel of land out of the J.M. <br />Veramendi League #1 more particularly described in Exhibit "A" <br />which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, <br />located at 1701 Hunter Road, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which <br />is in an area shown on the Future Land use Plan Map of the Master <br />Plan of the City of San Marcos as Permanent Open Space and/or <br />Floodplain shall be shown on that map as Commercial. <br /> <br />PART 2.
